The 3rd tunnel
The 3rd tunnel was discovered in 1978 based on a tip from a North Korean defector. 2 meters high, 2 meters wide, 1,635 meters long, and 73 meters deep, the tunnel was built by the North Koreans to facilitate an invasion to the South. About 30,000 soldiers could pass through this tunnel into South Korea only in one hour.
第三地道是1978年因脱北者提供的情报而被发现。该隧道高2米，宽2米，长1635米，深73米，是朝鲜军为了便于向韩国渗透而修建的。约3万名军人可在一个小时内通过该隧道抵达韩国。
