DMZ

The DMZ is short for the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. It was born on the 27, 1953, bringing a ceasefire to the Korean War. From the front line, the Chinese, North Korean and the UN Command pulled their forces back 2km north and south, creating in the middle a 4 kilometer no-man’s-land. The area is off limits to humans. It’s a strip of land that serves as a buffer zone.
